This is recording I listened to over and over again. Jacques Lesure plays those soulful lines with a kind of lyrical beauty that is
so appealing and always in the groove and of course in the tradition of Burrell, Benson and Ponder. He is heavily supported by the whole group and in particular by pianist Eric Reed that at times steals the show like on the classic grooveyard where his piano solo takes off and takes off again it is very "Tynerish" with some licks borrowed from John Hicks as well.
